Shaver was most recently vice president of development for Opus Northwest , where he has been working since 2005. Prior to that he was vice president and city manager of Liberty Property Trust. His career also includes a 12-year stint with CB Richard Ellis.

"We are fortunate to have an executive as seasoned and broadly experienced as Tom to assume the leadership role at Opus North," says Keith Bednarowski of Opus Holdings. "Tom has been instrumental in several signature office and industrial build-to-suit projects undertaken by Opus Northwest in the recent past. His particular expertise in that kind of work fits very well with the Opus North portfolio and the focus of the business going forward."

As GlobeSt.com reported, in this new position, Queenan will oversee the TCC offices in Chicago, Austin, Dallas and Houston. He will be based out of Chicago. Additionally he will head the company's Healthcare Initiative.

Queenan's former responsibilities will be split about the current Opus Northwest leadership team. "We wish Tom much success in his new role," says John Solberg, Opus Northwest COO. "While he'll be missed, we are confident we can transition his duties to other members of our team as we continue to position Opus Northwest to act on emerging opportunities in the region we serve."
