Hunsaker joined Grubb & Ellis two years ago as executive vice president of business development. He was previously senior managing director with CB Richard Ellis in Atlanta, where he worked for 10 years.
"Grubb & Ellis has significantly enhanced its platform to better support its individual offices and brokers, making this an exciting time to take on a market leader role," Hunsaker says. He cites one of his initial goals as increasing the company's visibility and market share.

Hunsaker, who recently turned 50, is immediate past president of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and is a founding member of the Real Estate Group of Atlanta. He has a bachelor's degree from California State University.
In other local executive moves, Dave Lindner has joined Grubb & Ellis as senior vice president of the office group. Lindner was previously a senior vice president with First Industrial Realty Trust, where he was also senior vice president and managed 39 million square feet along the East Coast.
Lindner, a 25-year landlord services veteran, began his career with Lincoln Property Co. and later worked for Highwoods Properties, Weeks Corp. and Duke Realty Corp. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Richomond.
Also, Ken Baudry has joined Grubb & Ellis as senior vice president of its National Data Center Practice. Baudry, who has bachelor's and MBA degrees from Louisiana State University, headed his own real estate brokerage and technology consulting firm for the past 23 years.
