Bunzl, a food packaging and supply distributor, signed for 228,576 square feet at Westfork, including a 76,192-square-foot expansion. GES, which provides exhibition and event services, renewed 199,505 square feet. The new lease brings both buildings to full occupancy.

"The I-20 West market has been historically strong and we're glad these two tenants have decided to continue to invest in the area," says Bob Tardy, IDI vice president of national leasing who negotiated for Westfork. Mark Sonnenberg with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker and Mike Spears with Colliers Spectrum Cauble represented Bunzl, while Gordon Benedict of Cushman & Wakefield represented GES.

Vacancy in the I-20 West/Fulton County industrial submarket ended the past year at 15.2%, with nearly 13.6 million square feet available, according to Colliers International research. Average asking rents in the area were $2.88 per square foot.
