Among the buildings now being managed by RMC are University Corporate Center in Orlando and Tampa Oaks in Temple Terrace, each with 104,000 square feet; Weston Park of Commerce, in South Florida, with 134,000 square feet of warehouse/office; and Carrollwood Corporate Center, a 20,000-square-foot office in Tampa.

"It was a natural extension of our retail platform as we continue to seek new opportunities in leasing and management of both retail and commercial properties across Florida," says Susie Rice, RMC president. The company now owns and manages 55 office and retail properties totaling 4.5 million square feet.

In related news, RMC has hired Linda Podlaski as its new director of property management. Podlaski has more than 25 years of property management experience in the Tampa Bay market.

RMC's commercial real estate services include leasing, management, acquisition, development and redevelopment. Over the past decade it has built 130 freestanding pharmacies, developed or redeveloped at least 20 shopping centers anchored by Lakeland-based Publix Super Markets Inc., and renovated several other retail properties.
