City Side Bistro & Grille, represented by Medhat Dewaik of R&C Real Estate Services, has leased a total of 4,262 square feet, including 1,000 square feet of outdoor space, and Floris Spa & Nail has leased 3,227 square feet with Stein representing both sides. Each transaction carries a 15-year term.
"The property represented a great opportunity for the right restaurant and retailers to take advantage of this location in a tight market," Stein tells GlobeSt.com. "City Side and Floris will add tremendous value to the growing office and residential community surrounding them."
Located three blocks from PATH's Exchange Place Station, 70 Greene shares a nine-story parking deck with K. Hovnanian Homes' 48-story 77 Hudson St. residential condominium project. Also nearby are a New York Waterway Ferry stop, a Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Station and the 300-room Hyatt Regency Jersey City.
"New retail space is at a premium in this particular market," Stein adds. "We had a great deal of interest in these availabilities."
