Equity Office Properties was able to offer a bit more for Decision, after its rezoning was approved last year, helping it revamp seven out of 10 buildings, altering them from industrial properties into mixed-use facilities. Decision, for their part, will be coming from a slightly smaller footprint, clocking in at 52,500 square feet in Waltham. The company will begin occupying its new digs in August of 2010.
The New England Executive Park's 56-acre campus is 12 miles northwest of Boston, comprised of 13 buildings totaling 1.1 million square feet. The campus' website boasts roughly 75 companies and a vacancy rate around 20%, which accounts for 240,000 square feet.
FHO Partners' partner John J. Boyle III, EVP Richard J. Fahey and VP Michael R. O'Leary represented Decision Reserouces, while Matt Daniels, partner of Colliers Meredith & Grew repped Equity Office Properties. FHO did not disclose the rental rate, but average asking prices in Burlington as of 1Q10 are $25.33 per square foot for office and $20 per square foot for R/D. Equity Office Properties did not return GlobeSt.com inquiries by deadline.
