Don Henry, chief real estate officer for Wells, says in a statement, "IBM is one of the strongest names in international business and we look forward to serving their real estate needs in Massachusetts for many years to come."
Wells purchased the property from a JV of Angelo Gordon and National Development in the deal. The The two interconnected three-story buildings, located at 550 King St. was originally designed for Digital Equipment Corp., which moved out in 2006. The property underwent renovations in 2008. The REIT was represented internally by Heather Griner.
