Well-known for its Rexel Inc. branded products, International Electric Supply Co. is relocating from 6606 LBJ Freeway into floors seven thru 11 of The Addison. The company will move into its new digs in early summer, according to Reid Caldwell, a principal with Transwestern's local office. He and Kim Butler represented the landlord, Equastone Real Estate Investment Advisors. Michael Quint and Jim Cooksey of Jackson Cooksey represented the tenant.

As part of the lease, Equastone will complete lobby and common area enhancements. The La Jolla, Calif.-based owner bought the 11-story building in 2007 from Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate Equities. The asking lease rates for the building range from $17.50 per square to $18.50 per square foot, plus electricity.

"It's a very competitive marketplace right now, and this building has been empty for a while," Caldwell tells GlobeSt. "We were very fortunate to be able to make a good deal with a credit tenant like International Electric Supply Co."
