Walgreen's has reserved 8,242 square feet at the building and Community First Bank signed a 10-year lease to occupy 3,638 square feet, according to Victor Kelly, vice president of Raider Realty, the exclusive leasing agent for Larken Associates, which arranged both lease signings.
"We purchased Echo Executive Plaza Office a year ago and immediately began renovations to modernize and provide the building an advantage in the area's commercial and office marketplace," Kelly says. "This included new exterior paint and significant upgrades to the, lobby, common bathrooms and corridors.
The building lies on a 2.39-acre landscaped site, which features 160 surface parking and 20 covered parking spaces. Other amenities include 10-foot first-floor ceilings, second- and third-floor balconies and extensive frontage along Route 22 and Mountain Avenue. Office suites available for lease at the building range from 1,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet.
Echo Executive Plaza Office is part of Echo Executive Plaza, which also includes Echo Plaza Shopping Center, a 66,568-square-foot community retail center located at 901 Mountain Ave. that has also undergone extensive upgrades, including a new exterior façade and roof, tenant signage, marquee sign and exterior landscaping.
Echo Plaza Shopping Center features suites ranging in size from 1,500 square feet to 5,458 square feet. Health club No Body Denied recently opened a 21,500-square-foot fitness center here. The club will serve as co-anchor along with Stew Leonard's Wines and Spirits, which recently picked up 12,680 square feet at the shopping center. The companies join current tenants Outback Steakhouse, Sherwin Williams, Echoqua Italian Bistro and Chen's 22 Chinese restaurant.
Situated directly on Route 22, Echo Executive Plaza has attracted a mix of financial, insurance and service companies. "Tenants here enjoy the advantage of operating in a center bordered by two major roadways and surrounded by densely populated communities where a strong consumer base already exists," says Robert Marek, another Raider Realty vice president. "It's also a prime retail location, as evidenced by the number of retail power centers, neighborhood shopping complexes and free-standing retailers located within a three-mile radius."
