According to Peter Wisniewski, executive vice president and partner, Coldwell Banker Commercial Feist & Feist Realty Corp., who was the sole broker in the transaction, Peterson Industries sold the property for $2.7 million; the buyer is undisclosed.

Last year, Wisniewski was involved in the sale of a 100,000-square-foot industrial facility on 13 acres nearby this location and has since completed leases there for over 40,000 square feet. In the first quarter of 2010, John Adams, president of the firm--and his associates--completed almost 150,000 square feet of industrial leases and renewals in Somerset County alone.

"Our success in Somerset County serves to demonstrate that many businesses are relocating to, and flourishing in, the Somerset County area, which has much to offer in terms of growth and diversity for the business community," Wisniewski tells GlobeSt.com, adding that Somerset County is the locale for a large percentage of the state's workforce.
