At CBRE, Kiffe will be responsible for driving production in the company's Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHA product lines. He will also oversee the continuing development of an integrated agency/FHA platform there.
In a release, Peter Donovan, senior managing director of CBRE's national multi-housing group, calls Kiffe "a dynamic leader in the multi-housing industry who will direct our efforts to deliver truly coordinated multi-housing finance alternatives to satisfy our clients' ever-evolving needs." Brian Stoffers, president of CBRE Capital Market, says in the release that Kiffe is "a much respected industry professional and will deliver great experience to our team and the clients that we serve."
Kiffe joined Freddie in 1992, rising to head of production in 1997. Before that 18-year stint, Kiffe was with GMAC Mortgage Corp. and Norwest Mortgage in Minneapolis for about 10 years. He focused on commercial real estate lending and mortgage banking at GMAC/Norwest. For five years prior to Norwest, Kiffe worked in Minneapolis as an attorney specializing in commercial real estate.
