666 Fifth Scores Second Big Lease This Week

NEW YORK CITY-Energy law firm Vinson & Elkins is expanding its headquarters space to nearly 81,000 square feet over three floors.

NEW YORK CITY-The Kushner Cos.’ 666 Fifth Ave., which earlier this week secured a record-setting retail lease by Japanese apparel chain Uniqlo, now has a big deal in its office component. Law firm Vinson & Elkins LLP has renewed and expanded its headquarters space to nearly 81,000 square feet over three full floors.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed; a release describes the Vinson & Elkins deal as a long-term lease. It adds the remaining 6,972-square-foot portion of the 41-story office tower’s 27th floor to the energy law firm’s existing space. In a statement, Kushner principal Jared Kushner pronounces himself “delighted that one of the world’s most prestigious law firms has decided to continue to grow its New York practice here at 666 Fifth.”
