Six Forks Square Put Up for Sale

CHARLOTTE-Beverly Hills-based RP Realty Partners, owner of Six Forks Square in Raleigh, North Carolina has put the three-building complex up for sale. The property, which has 155,000 square feet of rentable space, was built between 1981 and 1983 and occupied by IBM until 2004. Since 2005, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has occupied the entire complex and has a lease through June 20, 2017.

Savills, a UK-based global real estate company, is marketing the property for the owner. There is no asking price, says Savills’ New York-based managing director, Arthur M. Milston. “The building is a typical, Class B-type government office building,” he says.The Six Forks Square complex is eight miles east of the Raleigh-Durham Research Triangle and about five miles from downtown, says Milston. It is in the Six Forks Road office sub-market.
