A Quote

Sam, a close friend of mine, and I were having dinner last week and I told him that I had given someone a copy of the Daily Drucker, a compilation of 365 insightful and important perspectives of one of the greatest business minds of our time, Peter Drucker. Unbeknownst to me, Sam was a teaching assistant to Drucker for a number of years and recounted for me that one day he (Sam) was fretting over a problem of the day, and Peter put his hand on his shoulder and said, “Do not dissipate your energy making yesterday go a little bit longer”. Classic Drucker, and it’s not recorded anywhere but here. What’s the point? My interpretation is that the great recession is over, so start focusing on tomorrow. Thanks Sam.
