TAMPA-Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corporation has leased 53,218 square feet of distribution space to Staples, Inc. at Fairfield Distribution Center in Tampa’s east side industrial submarket. The transaction at Fairfield VIII, brings the 94,105 square foot distribution warehouse to 100% occupancy.

With its proximity to I-4 and I-75, Fairfield offers easy access to the region’s business and population center, says Doug Imscher, Duke’s senior vice president of Central Florida operations.

Duke’s Fairfield Distribution Center includes nine buildings totaling one million square feet. The center is built out.

In Central Florida, Duke has more than 130 tenants in an industrial and office portfolio of more than four million square feet. Duke also has 160 acres of land available for sale or future development in Central Florida.
