LOS ANGELES-Capstone Advisory Group LLC has added William Epstein as a managing director. Epstein has experience in complex fairness and solvency opinions and will lead Capstone’s valuation practice in its Los Angeles Office.

Prior to joining Capstone, Epstein was national director of opinion services for American Appraisal Assoc., where he was in charge of the firm's international fairness and solvency opinion practice. Prior to joining American Appraisal Associates, he was a managing director and the practice director for Navigant Capital Advisors’ fairness opinion practice.

Before moving to Navigant, Epstein had been with Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin for more than 16 years where he was Southwest director of the firm’s fairness and solvency practice and a member of the National Transactions Review Committee.

“Capstone’s culture of being nimble and providing senior level expertise to both healthy and distressed situations has allowed the firm to grow despite the current economic environment,” says Epstein. “I look forward to contributing and assisting with the growth in the Western US.”
