PHILADELPHIA-Locally based Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. has brokered the sale of two former Office Depot stores--one in Deptford, NJ and the other in Langhorne, PA--to Sixth Avenue Electronics.

The New Jersey property sold for $3.3 million and is located across from the Deptford Mall. Co-tenants include Toys R Us, Dick’s Sporting Goods and K&G. In Pennsylvania, the former 25,000-square-foot Office Depot at 2365 E. Lincoln Highway sold for $2.7 million.

Metro Commercial’s Rob Cooper represented Office Depot in the transactions and R.J. Brunelli & Co. represented Sixth Avenue Electronics. “Sixth Avenue Electronics has steadily expanded its presence in the greater Philadelphia area, adding additional stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware as part of the highly competitive home electronics retailing landscape, in part, to fill the void left by Circuit City’s demise,” Cooper tells GlobeSt.com.
