SOUDERTON, PA-Almac Group is putting the finishing touches on a $120 million North American headquarters that was built on 40 acres of farmland in this Northern Montgomery County community, according to a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The two-building, 240,000-square-foot site will allow the Irish company that serves the pharmaceutical and biotech sector to consolidate operations it has in Yardley and Audubon and create 260 jobs in a variety of positions from warehouse and hourly to professional.

The company occupies three buildings in Audubon, where it employs about 425 people, reports the Business Journal. There it will vacate 100,000-square-foot and 24,000-square-foot buildings it owns off Audubon Road as well as a 35,000-square-foot facility it leases. In Yardley, its lease on about 34,000 square feet along Stony Hill Road is soon set to expire. The company hasn’t determined what it will do with the properties it owns in Audubon.
