JACKSONVILLE, FL-Hotel Equities, a hotel management, development and consulting company based in Atlanta, has landed a 10-year contract to manage the 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Navarre, Florida, roughly 25 miles east of Pensacola on the Gulf Coast.

Located about three miles from the beach, the four-story hotel opened in 2008. Its primary customer base consists of tourists and people connected to the military, says Andrew Pace, director of new development for Hotel Equities. The US Air Force’s Hurlburt Field is 10 miles east of Navarre.

Now that Hotel Equities is managing the Hampton Inn & Suites in Navarre, says Pace, his company will initiate, “a strong revenue management program between sales and electronic marketing. The former owner just had one hotel and he wasn’t aware of sophisticated revenue enhancing techniques,” she says.“We have Hampton Inns in nine states so it is easy for us to maximize occupancies and room rates.”

Hotel Equities also manages Hampton Inns in Lake Okeechobee, Florida, Brunswick and Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, among other locations. “We manage a lot of select service hotels, mostly in the Southeast and mostly Marriott select service brands, including the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Springhill Suites, TownePlace Suites and Courtyard Hotels, says Pace. “We are one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the US,” he says, going from managing 14 hotels to 48 in only two years.
