SOMERSET, NJ-Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has arranged the sale of 130 Belmont Dr., a 50,000-square-foot flex/high-tech building here.

Mary Ryan of the firm’s Edison, NJ office represented the buyer, Core Services Corp., which will house its headquarters and a dual path power data center at the facility. CB Richard Ellis brokered the transaction for the property’s seller, a major Wall Street bank.

Ryan notes that the building will accommodate operations merged from New Jersey locations in Morristown and Union. “We looked all over Northern New Jersey, and the Somerset property worked well in terms of being central to the two existing offices,” she tells GlobeSt.com. “The asset also offered a sophisticated infrastructure already in place, including redundant power," she adds. "And Somerset offers access to a pool of highly educated IT professionals and recent graduates from area universities, including Princeton, Columbia, Penn and Rutgers.”
