Skanska Tapped for $48M Airport Renovation

BOSTON-The building business unit will rejuvenate and expand Terminal C at Logan International Airport.

BOSTON-Skanska USA has won the $48-million contract to renovate and expand Terminal C at Logan International Airport. Skanska was selected for its winning bid by the Massachusetts Port Authority. Terminal C serves a total of five airlines: JetBlue, AirTran Airways, Sun Country Airlines, Cape Air and United Airways.

The project will entail the construction of a consolidated baggage check point in Terminal C and the creation of shell space, anticipated for use with future construction. Renovations will range from replacing the main ticketing hall to completely switching out the entirety of the current HVAC system. Installation of sprinklers, lighting, new ceiling and electrical and communication systems will be part of this process.
