PARAMUS, NJ-A San Diego-based medical device company plans to open a Northeast regional office in Paramus and add jobs to the health care sector, according to a report in the Bergen Record.

NuVasive Inc., which develops and markets spine implants, has struck a deal to lease two-story office building at 117 W. Century Rd., a 65,000-square-foot structure built in 2008.

Kevin Murphy, a principal at Newmark Knight Frank, which represented the building owner, told the Record that the office should open by the end of July, but he did know how many jobs the company would bring to New Jersey. But the company appears to have advertised for multiple jobs Paramus jobs online, such as a surgeon education manager, desktop support technician and office manager.
