IRVINE, CA-Longtime company executive Laura Khouri has been named president of Western National Property Management, the property management arm of Western National Group. Khouri succeeds Tom Shelton, who is no longer with the company. She will lead a team of over 700 real estate professionals that currently manages more than 22,750 residential units within 155 communities located throughout California, Arizona and Utah. These multifamily communities include both third-party clients, as well as assets owned by Western National Group.

Khouri, who joined Western National Group in 1985, was president of Western National Group’s Multifamily Ancillary Group before being named to her new position. She also held the title of senior vice president with Western National Group, with responsibilities for all aspects of human resources, training and development, risk management and investor relations. She recently was elected to the board of directors for the California Apartment Association.

Michael Hayde, CEO of Western National Group, says that with her history with the company and her diverse skill set, Khouri will “bring Western National Property Management to the next level.”
