BURLINGTON, MA-CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust is purchasing the corporate headquarters of Nuance Communications here. One Wayside Rd. is a four-story class A office which is fully leased by Nuance and traded for $55 million. According to a report by The Real Reporter, the seller was the Gutierrez Cos., however neither CBRE nor Gutierrez would confirm by deadline.

Encompassing 200,411 square feet, One Wayside will be the technology company's home at least until March 2018, the end of its lease term. The property was expanded in 2008 to accomodate Nuance, altering the floorplates which were originally designed for a multi-tenant facility.

"One Wayside Rd. is CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust's first office acquisition in the New England market and further expands the diversity of our portfolio," explains Philip L. Kianka, EVP and COO for CBRE Realty Trust, in a statement. Acquisitions director Kim Adamek at CBRE Realty and the acquisitions team from CBRE Investors worked on this deal.
