CHICAGO-Illinois Association of Realtors has reported that June sales of homes in Chicago metropolitan area have increased by 27.2% compared to that of June 2009. There were 9,085 homes sold in June this year compared to 7,140 in June 2009.
However, there was a decline in the median prices of homes by 1.2%. The median prices of homes stood at $207,500 for June 2010 compared to $210,000 the previous year. Sales in Chicago rose by 27.5%, while prices dipped 3.2%. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
