ORLANDO-Florida Realtors has reported that sales of homes in Florida increased by 17% in June 2010 when compared to June 2009. This is the 22nd time in a row that sales have increased on a year-to-year basis.
There were 18,371 homes sold across the state in June 2010 while only 15,732 homes were sold in June 2009. However, the median prices of homes fell by 5% to $141,000 in June 2010 compared to $147,700 in June 2009. For the full story, go to Florida Real Estate Journal.
