NEW YORK CITY-Many big banks that were rejecting jumbo mortgages for New Yorkers are now making new and attractive choices for borrowers. Jumbos' size limits vary between regions and they go beyond $729,650 in tri-state area.
Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust has been offering $10 million as jumbo loans. In New York, the 15-year and 30-year jumbo loan fell to 5.13% and 5.59% from 5.91% and 6.35%, respectively, the previous year. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
