BALTIMORE-MICA PLACE, a Catholic school situated in East Baltimore, will become a home to graduate-level art students who will be working together with residents of the area to find art-based solutions for urban problems.
The $1.3 million facility after renovation will have a computer lab, art gallery, community meeting rooms, seminar space, studios and apartments for up to 26 graduate students. The Maryland Institute of Art has taken 10 years to complete this facility. For the full story, go to Baltimore Sun.
