WEST PALM BEACH, FL-The vacancy rate in Palm Beach dropped 1% from 24.5% in Q1 2010 to 23.5% at the end of Q2 2010. As a result of this, the asking rate for the county rose to $27.76 per square feet, this after it had fallen for six quarters in a row.
The total leasing activity at the end of the quarter stood at 693,690 square feet. At present, there are three buildings totaling 168,475 square feet under construction. For the full story, go to Florida Real Estate Journal.
