BROOKLYN, NY-The Landmarks Preservation Commission of the city is all set to designate two areas in mid-Brooklyn as historic districts. The first area consists of 13 buildings in Prospect Heights which will be the Park Palace historic district, while the second area includes 55 buildings close to Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, which is set to be the Wallabout historic district.
The calendaring of the properties is the first step that leads to designation of a district. For the full story, go to The New York Observer.
