NEW YORK CITY-Duane Reade, the operator of drug and convenience stores, has signed a lease for 20 years for 23,310 square feet at 40 Wall St. The retailer will occupy two floors of the 72-story Trump Building and will house the drug store on the top floor.
The need for retailers has increased in downtown as there has been surge in the number of residents from 24,400 in 2000 to 55,000 residents at present. The tenant was represented by Winick Realty Group. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
