NEW YORK-Condominium prices in the Manhattan area are increasing day by day showing signs of recovery in the realty market of New York. Price of condos increased by 6.7% to $1,017.49 per square foot in the month of May compared to that of the previous month.
Manhattan sales activity witnessed an almost 100% increase in May after a major drop in 2009. Condo prices in the Financial District increased by 35.7% from that of 2009 to $868.70 per square foot.For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
