WASHINGTON, DC-Fannie Mae is all set to launch a borrower-facing outreach site, which will provide distressed homeowners information on foreclosure alternatives and retention strategies. The site will be launched both in English and Spanish.

It will educate the borrowers on the mechanism of repayment, refinance, modification and forbearance options with the help of an online calculator. The site also provides information on Deed-For-Lease program of Fannie Mae, which enables borrowers to rent out the property after a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure.
