NEW YORK CITY-A fee of $175 will be charged on the plaintiffs for hearing a case related to city property tax assessment. According to a new rule, the Tax Commission will levy the charge for properties that are assessed at or more than $2 million, while for a single condo the tax will be charged if the total tax assessment of the building exceeds $2 million.
The application will still remain free and fees will not be charged if the hearing is waived. For the full story, go to New York Post.
