PORT ORANGE, FL-A Winter Haven-based seniors housing developer has purchased the Golden Abbey Assisted Living Facility for $1.2 million. The 28,000-square-foot facility sits of three acres of land and is located at 1321 Herbert St. in Port Orange.

The facility includes a 16-unit memory care building and a 41-unit building that is slated to be complete by the end of 2010. The facility was purchased from a Denver-based firm.
