LOS ANGELES-According to HomeData of Hicksville's data, the sales of homes in Los Angeles County rose by 3% in July 2010 to 4,498 units compared to that of July 2009. However, the median price remained at its high of $350,000, after its recovery in spring 2009.

The sales of homes in June 2010 had dropped compared to June 2009, mainly due to the expiration of the federal tax credit. Experts believe home prices to fall further by 1% in this year. For the full story, go to Los Angeles Business Journal.
