SALT LAKE CITY-The Salt Lake City Planning Commission has sent a recommendation, which received an 8-1 vote, to the City Council regarding an outlined plan to demolish Yalecrest homes from pre-World War II times.
The proposal, which has been rejected consecutively by the Landmark and Planning commissions, now has little hope of approval. With a fall in home prices, the city needs to upgrade Yalecrest in order to boost sales in the area. For the full story, go to Salt Lake Tribune.
