OAKLAND, CA-Home prices in Bay Area and Silicon Valley have increased at a higher rate when compared to other areas in the US. San Jose area holds the second place while San Francisco holds the third place for the highest increase in median home sale prices in the Q2 of 2010.
The median house prices in the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara area rose 26% year-over-year to reach $630,000 while in the San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont area median prices increased 25% to reach $591,200. For the full story, go to Oakland Tribune.
