FAIRVIEW, TX-A Real Bookstore has inked a lease for 20,000 square feet at The Village at Fairview, one of the biggest mixed-use projects in the nation. Scheduled to open this November, the store will be the largest locally-owned bookstore in North Texas.
“We’re excited to get a local bookstore – one that really connects with the community and caters to local customers,” says Gar Herring, president of The MGHerring Group, the developer of The Village at Fairview. “A Real Bookstore is a step above the traditional bookstore. It will appeal to a diverse range of interests and age groups by offering speakers, author signings, children’s events, cooking classes and other activities.”
Located between Macy’s and JCPenney and facing Stacy Road, a Real Bookstore will include a 2,000-square-foot children’s section, a dedicated event space and an area for cooking demonstrations. Designed by San Francisco, CA-based URS, the one-story store also will feature an indoor/outdoor caf
