DETROIT-Foreclosures activity across the United States increased 128% in July 2010 compared to that of the same period last year. In comparison with that of June 2010, it has increased by 10%. Nearly 325,229 assets were in the danger of foreclosure nationwide.
Michigan foreclosures also increased in July this year. About 18,833 assets were subjected to foreclosure process in July. Nationwide, Michigan State ranks fourth in foreclosure rates in July. For the full story, go to The Detroit Free Press.
