SACRAMENTO-According to a report released by the Center for Responsible Lending Latino homeowners were affected the worst by the economic crisis in California, giving up a total 301,086 homes or 48% which is nearly half of 625,356 foreclosures in the state.
Around 11% of the home foreclosures in California happened in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo counties. Despite representing only 21% of California's total homeowner population, Latinos accounted for nearly half of the foreclosures in the state.For the full story, go to Sacramento Bee.
