DALLAS-North Texas home prices were up 1% in July 2010 from July 2009 due to a sharp increase in the sale of high-end homes.
There was a 50% increase in the number of new homes in 2010 while the number of foreclosures reduced in three of the last four months. Furthermore, sales of pre-owned homes declined 29% in July 2010.
