Holiday Inn Express Kicks Off Lodging Privatization

FORT POLK, LA-The first branded hotel on an U.S. military installation is now open.

FORT POLK, LA-The first branded hotel on an U.S. military installation has opened here and is now welcoming military travelers.

The Holiday Inn Express at Fort Polk is part of Privatization of Army Lodging program, a public-private partnership between Actus Lend Lease and Intercontinental Hotel Group. Previously, all hotels on Army installations have been owned and operated by the military.
