DALLAS-Morton's Restaurant Group Inc. is planning to open a new steakhouse in trendy Uptown in Dallas' West End district, nearly a mile away from its chop house.

The new restaurant will measure 8,500 square feet and will open next year. The new restaurant is located at McKinney Avenue and Pearl Street in Uptown Plaza and will be able to seat 244 diners.
