SACRAMENTO-According to DataQuick, homes sales in the Sacramento housing market faced a downturn in July due to the expiration of government tax credits.
The number of existing and new homes purchased in July 2010 was 2,958 compared to 3,928 homes purchased in June 2010. The median sales price in the county for existing and new homes combined was $175,000 in July 2010, a 2.8% decline from July 2009 and a $10,000 decline from June 2010.
