NEW YORK CITY-Jewish Home Lifecare has singed a deal to give its Upper West Side facility in Manhattan to the Stellar Management and Chetrit Group in exchange for cash and a site on West 100th Street.

Jewish Home has plans to construct a 24-floor elder-care center for $250 million on the new smaller site. However, West 100th Street residents have protested against the proposal as they think it is not an apt site for an elder-care home. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
