ALISO VIEJO, CA-Although demand for new homes remain below last year's rate, unsold homes in Orange County have continued to rise in the last two weeks, reports Steve Thomas of Altera Real Estate.

Thomas reported that an additional 236 owners have listed their homes for sale as of Thursday sending the total to 11,650, and in the past month up to 3,002 owners inked sales contracts.
