BERLIN-A spate of development activities is underway in the neighborhood of the Berlin Brandenburg International Airport, which is slated to be operational by 2012.
About 12 developments, within 30 minutes of the airport site, are in progress and BBI Business Park is the largest business center towards the northern end of the airport. Over the past six months, Euro 42 million ($53.2 million) has been invested in development activities and many industrial giants have opened offices around the airport site.
