NEW YORK CITY-Waterman Interests has acquired a 21-story tower, the 400 Park Ave. office building in the north of Lever House.
The tower is presently 30% vacant and the lease of a major tenant at the building, Syms store, occupying 70,000 square feet in five floors, will expire next year.
This purchase comes at the end of years of efforts by Waterman Interests to own the midtown building. Waterman also owns a retail and office property at 130 Prince St. in Soho. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business.
