BOSTON-Home sales have plummeted in some communities in Massachusetts but in other communities sales have increased in July. Sales of single-family homes climbed 130% in Cohasset and 117% in Norwood in July.

Meanwhile, home sales in Newton have dipped 29%, a decrease from 95 to 67, but in Brookline, July sales have increased by 20%.
